My treatment methods

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I help with gradually exposing yourself to your fears and actively resisting the urge to perform compulsions. We will create a hierarchy of fears, starting with less distressing situations and gradually moving to more challenging ones. During exposures, you sit with your feelings of distress until they naturally subside without engaging in your usual compulsions.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT involves a collaborative process between the client and therapist to identify and understand the your values, develop strategies to increase acceptance of difficult experiences and encourage you to take action towards your values.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will help you identify your negative thoughts and beliefs, challenge the validity of these thoughts and develop coping strategies for dealing with negative thoughts and emotions.
