About me

My name is Elena, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in millennial mental health for women with a focus on anxiety, depression, chronic illness and pain. I take a more holistic approach to mental health. My mission is to empower my clients with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to effectively manage their pain, improve their emotional well-being, and lead fulfilling lives. I am dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their feelings, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and gain a deeper understanding of their pain and its effects on their daily lives. Whether you're looking to reduce the intensity of your chronic pain, regain control over your emotions, or simply seek guidance and support, I am here to help. Together, we can navigate the challenges of chronic pain and create a brighter, more hopeful future. I am someone who deeply values the therapeutic relationship with my clients. I pride myself on creating a safe and collaborative space for my clients to find their truth. I would love the opportunity to be part of your wellness journey so that you can find yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, "the floor is yours." People often lack opportunities to discuss their emotional or physical pain without judgment. I aim to provide a space where you can share your struggles in depth, and we can collaborate on effective treatment options together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I'm very passionate about millennial mental health and working with women who struggle with anxiety, depression, navigating chronic illness or pain. I believe that millennials are exposed to unique stressors (navigating adulthood) and experiences that need more therapists to hold space to process those challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I like to work with Millennial women, BIPOC, and LGBT communities.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

A strength-based approach in therapy is crucial as it focuses on empowering individuals by highlighting their inherent strengths and resources. This positive framework not only fosters resilience and self-empowerment but also promotes a more optimistic outlook on life. By building on existing capabilities, it can help cultivate more meaningful and sustainable progress and self-empowering conclusions to life dilemmas.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With my years of experience in CBT, I've helped client reframe their negative thoughts in order to manifest healthier behaviors.

Somatic

Using somatic therapy in my practice. I have been able to help client recognize the beauty of movement and utilizing our bodies to help regulate our emotions and slow down our nervous system to reduce anxiety and stress.

Elena has always been direct and solution oriented, while providing empathy, which allows for considerate honesty. She has helped me through so much throughout the time we have connected. She is very open minded and not judgmental when it came to those vulnerable moments. She shows up as her true self and is the lighthouse for others to do the same. Very thankful I came across her profile and gave therapy another chance. They say its hard to find a good therapist, well Elena is a blessing!
