Feelings are an essential and unavoidable part of life - sometimes uplifting, sometimes overwhelming. Our daily experiences come with highs and lows, and as humans, we thrive through connection and honest conversations. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my role is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard and supported. In therapy, every thought, emotion, and behavior can be explored, making life's ups and downs feel less daunting and more manageable. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, low motivation, relationship challenges, grief, boundary issues, or difficulties with family and friends, I can help you process these emotions and find a way forward. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but my priority is to help you feel comfortable and supported every step of the way. I am dedicated to your growth and success. Let’s get started!
In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions, followed by a few essential housekeeping items to help set the stage. From there, I’ll hand things over to you, ensuring you feel comfortable sharing what brought you to therapy. If at any point you feel stuck, I’ll offer guiding questions to help you navigate the conversation. Most importantly, sessions will always move at a pace that feels right for you. *Due to limited availability, my hours are 8am–5pm Monday–Thursday and 9am–12pm Friday. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule; otherwise, a $50 late cancellation/no-show fee applies. I understand emergencies happen, please just reach out if you need to discuss or reschedule. Thank you for valuing both our time!*
Each therapy session is uniquely tailored to your needs, ensuring a client-centered approach that focuses on what will benefit you most in that moment. This is your time, and my priority is to create a space where you feel heard, accepted, respected, and truly comfortable. I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are navigating periods of transition, uncertainty, and self-exploration. My clinical interests center on supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, adjusting to life changes, and working through interpersonal challenges within family, peer, or relational systems. I also enjoy working with clients who are exploring questions of identity, values, and direction, particularly during formative or shifting stages of life. I am particularly drawn to clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about next steps. I also value working with individuals who are seeking to strengthen their sense of identity, build self-compassion, and improve emotional regulation. In my work, I aim to create a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I approach counseling from a strengths-based and person-centered lens, while also integrating evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs. I view therapy as a space for both insight and practical change and I aim to help clients better understand themselves while also developing concrete coping strategies and skills they can apply in daily life. Across all of these areas, I strive to meet clients where they are and support them in moving toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-efficacy. My goal is to empower clients to better understand their internal experiences and external environments, and to help them build meaningful, sustainable change aligned with their values and goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been integrating CBT into my therapy practice for many years. I have witnessed it's power in helping individuals overcome a variety of challenges, from anxiety and depression to stress and even behavioral issues. I have seen firsthand how CBT empowers clients by teaching them practical skills to address their thoughts and emotional responses. In my therapy practice, I use CBT as a cornerstone approach for addressing most concerns. I tailor therapy to each individual, ensuring we explore the unique cognitive patterns and how those patterns affect their mental and emotional well-being. I use techniques to help clients identify cognitive distortions, challenge negative beliefs, and gradually replace unhealthy thought patterns with healthier alternatives. Through the use of CBT in my therapy practice, many clients have reported significant improvements in their mood, behaviors and overall outlook. By learning how to identify and reframe negative thought patterns, they gain greater control over their emotional and behavioral responses. The skills acquired in CBT are often long-lasting, and empower clients to manage their future stressors more independently.
