Are you seeking to make meaningful changes in your life? Are life challenges and events difficult to navigate? I feel I can help. More often than not we can connect our current difficulties to our past history and events. Current struggles can be source of unresolved issues. Are you seeking increased insight and clarity which can pave a path to navigating life change and wellness? Then please let's talk!
My passion is to support individuals in navigating change, self-awareness and expression of mind, body and spirit. As a psychotherapist with a core humanistic and psychodynamic approach, I like to incorporate a variety of evidenced based interventions which include but are not limited to CBT, Mindfulness, Y-CBT, Breathing techniques, Mind/Body Techniques for Relaxation and Stress Reduction, Art Therapy/Expressive Therapies and Narrative Therapy. As a lifelong learner I am always eager to learn new techniques to support my clients so that I may tailor sessions to meet the needs of my clients.
I utilize evidenced based approaches including Mindfulness, Breathing Techniques and Yoga-CBT which incorporates meditation, breathing techniques and chair yoga to manage and reduce symptoms related to anxiety and panic disorder.
I utilize a psychodynamic approach to explore underlying causes of behavior; past relationship difficulties that effect current relationships (including transference), and the approach that childhood experiences effect the shaping of personality.
I utilize a person-centered approach to provide a non-judgmental and supportive treatment that encourages positive change.
In addition to my LMHC, I am also a Registered Art Therapist. As requested, I can provide art therapy and expressive therapies to support awareness and change.
