What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation in which I gather information and formulate potential psychiatric diagnoses. This will help me to create a treatment plan tailored to your specific mental health needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in the mental health field for the past 13 years, I have developed a true passion to care for those impacted by mental health issues. I am committed to helping you feel better mentally and on a holistic level.

My treatment methods

Supportive

As your mental health provider, I will encourage you to talk about your feelings, concerns, and problems in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Supportive psychotherapy focuses on helping you work through present and immediate concerns, including relationship issues, family conflicts, or work-related stress.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Culturally sensitive therapy focuses on respecting and accommodating the patient's cultural background and identity. This therapy involves the provider's understanding of the patient's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other cultural element that influences their beliefs, values, and attitudes. By using culturally sensitive therapy, the provider aims to help the patient feel understood, accepted, and comfortable while seeking mental health services.
