What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I’m a contemporary psychologist. My job is to help you discover ways of being that will give you more choices in how you want to be towards yourself and relations with others. I view the world through person- centered lenses.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I teach mindfulness techniques as interventions that can be used as resources to help you feel more grounded and safe. These coping strategies can be used to assist you when you explore and unpack the burdens of your history and be utilized as profound self-care practices in your life

EMDR

I use EMDR therapy to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories especially those associated with PTSD or C-PTSD. EMDR helps the brain process those memories and allows normal healing to occur.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to address both the emotional and behavioral aspects of common responses and behaviors that develop as a consequence of trauma. CBT theory and techniques integrates effectively with the treatments I utilize with my clients.
