I’m a licensed therapist in Ohio who works with adults navigating trauma, burnout, anxiety, and the messy middle of being a human. My style is collaborative, grounded, and no-nonsense—I’m here to offer a space that’s both safe and real. My background includes work in crisis, ER, and private practice settings, and I bring body-based, trauma-informed approaches to help clients explore new ways of living, feeling, and relating.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you want from therapy, and what’s felt helpful or unhelpful in past experiences. There’s no pressure to dive into everything at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll ask some foundational questions to get to know you, and you’ll have space to ask me anything, too. This session is the beginning of building a relationship based on trust, transparency, and collaboration.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often say they feel deeply seen in our work—without having to perform, over-explain, or mask their true experience. I blend a grounded presence with direct feedback and humor when it’s helpful. I don’t sit back and nod—I show up, stay present, and ask honest questions. My training in EMDR and somatic tools allows us to go deeper than talk therapy alone, while always centering your pace and consent. You don’t have to have it all figured out—I meet you exactly where you are. Therapy doesn’t have to look one way to be valid—I welcome stimming, tangents, nonlinear processing, and the full range of how you show up.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You’re insightful, self-aware, and maybe even have a background in mental health yourself. You’re used to being the one others lean on. On the outside, you’re doing fine—but inside, you’re tired, disconnected, or overwhelmed. You might be carrying trauma you’ve minimized for years, or struggling with boundaries, relationships, or nervous system burnout. You want therapy that goes deeper than coping skills—a space where you can untangle old patterns and move toward something more honest and sustainable. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ and/or exploring their neurodivergence—sometimes for the first time in a safe space. Therapy with me doesn’t require masking, overexplaining, or fitting into systems that weren’t built for you.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR therapy is a highly researched and effective therapy method designed to help people overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, typically with eye movements, audio tones, or tapping on your body, to help you reprocess difficult memories, unhelpful core beliefs about yourself, and intense emotions in a safe and healthy way. I've heard clients call EMDR therapy "magical" and it kind of is (except it's really cool brain science!)

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is like a mental toolbox for better living. It's about accepting that we all have good and bad thoughts and feelings. Then, it helps you figure out what truly matters to you, your core values, and guides you to take steps in line with those values, even when things get really hard.
