New to Grow
With over 15 years of experience, I am a licensed therapist (LCSW) who brings warmth, insight, and expertise to individual and couples therapy. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma recovery, and couples work. I am passionate about helping people build resilience, break through emotional barriers, and find clarity in times of uncertainty. I am dedicated to creating a safe, collaborative space where meaningful and lasting change can take place.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Working with me begins with a thoughtful, collaborative intake process where we explore your goals, history, and what brings you to therapy. I take time to build a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood—this foundation is key to meaningful progress. Therapy with me is active and engaging. I use evidence-based approaches to help you move through challenges, build resilience, and develop tools that support real, lasting change. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating life transitions, recovering from trauma, or managing high levels of stress or anxiety.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
my greatest strengths lie in building genuine, trusting therapeutic relationships and tailoring evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I bring a grounded, trauma-informed perspective to my work, integrating modalities such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy to foster meaningful, lasting change. My approach is compassionate yet goal-oriented, helping clients feel both supported and empowered as they navigate their healing journey. I’m especially skilled at creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, understood, and motivated to grow.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I value clients who are curious about themselves, open to the process, and ready to do the work—even if that means starting small.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a trauma-informed therapist I integrate CBT into sessions by applying its structured, evidence-based techniques—such as identifying and reframing unhelpful thoughts—within a safe, collaborative environment that prioritizes emotional regulation, empowerment, and sensitivity to your trauma history.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing (MI) uses a collaborative, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to strengthen your intrinsic motivation for change—honoring your autonomy, exploring any ambivalence with compassion, and fostering lasting engagement in the therapeutic process.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-Centered Therapy creates a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and valued—empowering you to lead your healing process through unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and deep empathic understanding.
