Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed to practice in the states of California and Arizona. I received my Masters from the University of Southern California and have been practicing for 8 years. I help individuals struggling with a variety of issues. From day to day stressors to deep rooted trauma. My goal is to help clients build healthier relationships with themselves and those around them by empowering them, providing hope, and promoting self compassion.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first therapy session, clients can expect a welcoming, judgement free zone. Therapy can be intimidating and uncomfortable, especially for first time clients so I like to spend time building the therapeutic relationship and getting to know my client as well as their goals for therapy. It's ok if this is not accomplished during the first session, as we may not always know what exactly we hope to gain and as I am getting to know you, you may be getting to know yourself as well. It will be my job to help guide you through the process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel truly heard and feel they can be their true selves. I am here to provide feedback and point out patterns that are sometimes hard or uncomfortable to hear. While therapy is meant to improve our well-being, part of my role is challenging clients. What that means is, I may not always say what you want to hear but the message is always delivered with genuine compassion and empathy. My intuition and adaptability allow me to meet each client where they're at while empowering them to create long lasting change. My ultimate goal is to ensure clients feel valued, understood, and capable of growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adults from various backgrounds who are ready to begin their healing journey. My clients often come to me feeling stuck in patterns of overthinking and avoidance but are motivated to begin cultivating healthier approaches to these issues. They value a structured yet compassionate and nonjudgemental approach that blends with practical tools and deeper self-exploration.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

In my practice I believe it is important to identify my clients' existing strengths, resources, and resilience. I implement this by identifying strengths, reframing challenges, collaborating on goals, empowering autonomy, highlighting progress, and encouraging support networks.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Utilizing CBT involves helping clients identify and change unhelpful thought patters and behaviors through the use of psychoeducation, identifying automatic thoughts, core beliefs, and maladaptive behaviors that no longer help clients, cognitive restructuring, and teaching coping skills and problem solving.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy

PE is utilized to help clients process trauma and reduce avoidance behaviors through psychoeducation, breathing retraining, exposure techniques, and processing and reflection of the trauma.

Motivational Interviewing

I utilize MI to foster a collaborative and client-centered conversation in order to strength my client's motivation for change.
