I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I was inspired to become a therapist after growing up in a family that experienced mental illness and trauma. I would like to help those in need thrive and become the best versions of themselves. I have been practicing therapy for over 3 years with a those with a variety of needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Client will be presented with an empathic professional who will meet you where you are. I begin by learning about the client , goals for treatment, and mechanisms by which they would like to do so. I also like to use the miracle question technique to establish long-term goals. I create a safe environment for clients by remaining nonjudgmental and meeting the client where they are. I believe the essentials for the therapeutic relationship are empathy, mutual understanding of expectations, and respect.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The values that I bring to therapy is that everyone has strengths and has the ability to change. I tailor my approach by collaborating with clients. I view therapy as an opportunity to learn more about one self and what one needs to succeed in their lives. I strongly believe that mental health is integral to overall health and wellbeing.
