I have my nursing degrees from both Youngstown State University and University of Cincinnati with my doctorate in nursing from Ohio University. I am also well-traveled at least nationally and have worked in Pennsylvania, D.C., Texas and California. I feel I am not only diversified in my work but also with my thinking and can think outside the box while working within well-established medical guidelines. I am constantly reading and studying and I try to stay apprised on the latest research and treatments.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first meeting with me will be establish a history and physical so together we can come up with the most appropriate diagnosis. The diagnosis is not to label you, but instead to help ensure we approach your diagnosis upon the best known treatment for this diagnosis as well as to communicate to others including your therapist and any insurance providers. Each subsequent visit will be to monitor the medication and to adjust the medication as needed. I will be more than happy to fill out necessary paperwork for you, but I do ask for ask for a fee to complete paperwork. Fees are charged as follows: $10 school/work excuses $20 school forms; $50 FMLA forms $100 for disability or other detailed legal forms $25 for record requests from other facilities Please note the self-pay rate is for patients with financial difficulty (making under $50,000 year (individual) and $80,000 (family) generally for patients without insurance. $120 for the initial visit, $60 for the follow-up visit. All others can have 50% off my standard rate as long as the self-rate is paid in full on the day of the visit. This is approximately $200 for the initial visit and approximately $125 for follow-up visits.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I will use appropriate screening tools as well as my education and knowledge combined with my listening skills to collaborate with the patient to determine the best course of treatment. I will be using telepsychiatry and by signing up through this platform, you are agreeing to use of audio/video. I will also be using electronic prescribing and by signing up through this platform, you are agreeing to the use of this.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I care about my patients and listen to his or her needs to come up with the best individualized treatment plan. I diagnose and treat all mental health conditions with appropriate medications as needed. I do this in a holistic manner, meaning I treat the patient as a whole rather than a sum of his or her parts. I will run appropriate bloodwork as well as treat mental health conditions in the context of any chronic illness the patient may be suffering. I am here to help.
