We all need a little help sometimes. In a world where outward perfection is often valued more than inner peace, it is easy to get lost. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who can help you heal from the inside out by addressing your mind, body and spirit. I have over a decade of experience counseling clients of all abilities and often incorporate brain-based education into my practice. It is my belief that once you understand how your mind works, you can better manage the thoughts, feelings and choices blocking your progress.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My approach to therapy begins with providing a supportive space for my clients to identify and express the thoughts, emotions, and fears causing distress. I utilize several therapeutic modalities to address my client's unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Art Therapy, and Christian Counseling. In addition to offering traditional talk therapy in-person and online, I offer Walk and Talk sessions. It is well proven that walking provides numerous benefits to our mind and body. It can increase endorphins, calm the nervous system by lowering cortisol levels, improve heart rate variability and help regulate blood pressure. Consistent exercise can also improve brain function, attention, memory and processing speed. Spending time outdoors adds to these benefits by allowing us to reconnect with our environment and stock up on Vitamin D and serotonin, which are essential to boosting our mood and energy levels. If you are ready to set out on a new path forward with more practical and natural ways to improve your overall health, I would love to help!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Life can present us with unexpected challenges that leave us feeling scattered, stretched and on the worst days, broken. It is my mission to help others rediscover their potential, purpose and worth by addressing the whole person. When our mind, body and spirit are aligned, we are better prepared to face obstacles outside of our control and move toward a more meaningful life.
