LPC, 10 years of experience
I’m Veronica Coker, a Licensed Trauma Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Community and Trauma Counseling from Jefferson University. With over 10 years of experience in behavioral therapy, I specialize in working with children who have experienced multiple Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). My passion is helping individuals navigate life’s most complex and challenging moments. I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I offer personalized, high-quality counseling services tailored to each person’s unique needs, with the goal of promoting healing, resilience, and lasting growth. Over the years, I’ve provided specialized therapeutic support to clients facing a wide range of life experiences. My top priority is my clients’ well-being—your happiness and success matter deeply to me. I go above and beyond to walk alongside you through every step of your journey toward healing.
In our first session, we’ll begin with a brief introduction and discuss what you can expect from counseling with me. We’ll then explore the specific challenges you’re facing so I can begin to develop a personalized plan tailored to your needs and goals. For children, I may include a rapport-building game or activity to help them feel more comfortable and engaged as we get to know each other.

I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to heal, grow, and take meaningful steps toward change. We don’t always start with all the tools we need—but that’s okay. What matters most is a willingness to show up, do the work, and meet me halfway. Together, we’ll build the skills and insight needed to move forward with confidence and clarity.

She is very relatable and gives me room to express my thoughts. She guides me through my emotions and feelings without trying to steer me in a direction that I don't want to go. She is insightful and pays attention to detail, even remembering some of the things i forget and it feels like she genuinely wants the best for me because she keeps me accountable to myself and the progress I am trying to make in the most endearing way.

She was warm and engaging, she did an excellent job putting me at ease and sharing her therapeutic approach.
My therapeutic approach combines Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and in control of your own process. I believe that real change happens when you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. Alongside this, I use CBT techniques to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work on practical tools to support growth and positive change. I also remain flexible in my approach, drawing from other methods when helpful, to meet you where you are and support what works best for you.
