My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices. I use Narrative Therapy to help clients reframe limiting beliefs and experiences, while incorporating strategies from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation and coping. I also have a strong interest in working with individuals struggling with problem gambling, offering structured and supportive interventions to foster change. I have a particular passion for supporting fathers and men as they navigate parenting, identity, and emotional well-being. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about you—your goals, your story, and your hopes for therapy. We'll start by identifying what you want to get out of our work together and how you’ll know when you’re moving in the right direction. For some, that goal might be crystal clear. For others, especially when life feels overwhelming or stuck, it might take a little more exploration—and that’s okay. I’m here to help you shift from feeling trapped in a painful or confusing life narrative to one that feels full of choice, meaning, and possibility. We’ll explore what has felt life-affirming to you—your strengths, interests, and moments of clarity—and identify how to do more of what brings you energy and connection. At the same time, we’ll take a closer look at what’s getting in the way: unhelpful patterns, past experiences, difficult relationships, or negative self-messages that no longer serve the life you want to build. By the end of the first session, you’ll leave with at least one practical tool or skill that you can begin using right away—something that helps you take a concrete step toward the life you deserve. My approach blends several evidence-based therapies, including Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. This allows us to tailor the work to your unique needs and goals.
