What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first mental health session, often called an intake or initial assessment, is a crucial step in establishing a therapeutic relationship and understanding the client's needs, desires, and wants.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Keisha believes in working in partnership with clients/ individuals, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out challenges and achieve their goals. She also realizes how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems (family, friends), work or school environment, and faith/spirituality in this process.
