8 years of experience
Hi! I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from the University of Central Florida and I have been practicing for 8 years. I help adults, young adults, & teens process & learn positive ways to deal/navigate daily life struggles, how to cope with symptoms related to depression & anxiety, & to learn/apply healthy coping skills.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. My goal is build rapport with my clients as this will help me create a treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. This treatment plan will include individualized goals & objectives to help the client improve those identified areas of struggles.
My goal is to provide a safe environment for clients to open up about their struggles & concerns. Provide clients with an empathetic response & non judgmental space in order for client's to achieve their highest level of being. Focusing on self care & positive coping skills.
I love working with individuals who are seeking for help, are motivated to change in order to be the best version of themselves. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious due to daily life struggles/obstacles.
CBT can be an effective tool to help anyone learn how to better manage stressful life situations. It helps clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
This technique is empathetically driven toward providing a person with a safe space to talk, self-actualize (realize your full potential), and make positive changes in their life. Person centered will help you explore your own issues, feelings, beliefs, behaviors, and worldview, so you can become more self-aware and achieve greater independence.
