Hi, my name is Noah Eastman and I am a trauma-informed IFS and somatic therapist. I offer a space for you to heal from the past, discover yourself, and chart a new path forward. I offer psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, grief, gender and sexuality issues, childhood trauma, and major life transitions. We will explore early childhood experiences, family dynamics, and past traumas, as well as work through issues related to relationships, self-esteem, and personal growth. I help my clients connect to the physical sensations in their body and become more aware how they are connected to their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You will feel held in a spacious and supportive environment. You will begin to unravel your tangled web of thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. You will be accompanied by a warm guide who feels as comfortable as a friend. Your life story will begin to take on new dimensions as you share openly and honestly. You will build emotional regulation tools, practice mindfulness, and learn about attachment. You will slowly gain more choice and freedom in your life by finally having a space where you can be your perfectly, messy self.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with complex trauma and PTSD with many individuals and couples, I have the capacity to hold a spacious energetic container for you to grow and heal. I bring light-heartedness and a sense of humor to very deep and transformational work.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is a non-pathologizing way of examining the ways we learned to deal with stress, attach in relationships, and protect ourselves from fear or rejection. Begin to pinpoint parts causing difficulties and help them unburden their pain and inherited beliefs. Re-pattern the way you relate to yourself and others. Relate from a deeper perspective to your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Somatic

Somatic therapy restores connection to your body, which allows the pain of the past that is disrupting your life to be integrated, grieved, and released. Learn to connect to the feelings in your body and understand what you need to feel grounded and open. When we give ourselves a chance to reconnect with the old stories held in our bodies, we give ourselves a chance to rewrite our story.
