I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional based in Ohio. I am formally trained in EFT and EMDR therapies and utilize a mix of skills from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, IFS, polyvagal therapy and of course EMDR and EFT. I will meet you where you are, not every modality works for every person. Therapy should be unique to you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is all about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what’s bringing you to therapy now. We'll explore your current challenges, relevant history, and any patterns you've already noticed. I’ll ask questions to help guide the conversation, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel ready for. This is also a space for you to ask questions about my approach and see if we’re a good fit. By the end of our time, we’ll discuss next steps and start identifying a path forward that feels safe, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a therapist lies in my ability to build strong, authentic, and empathetic relationships with my clients. I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a safe and trusting relationship, and I take immense pride in fostering that. Whether it’s through deep listening, non-judgmental presence, or simply being attuned to what’s unsaid, I strive to create an environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. This sense of safety allows us to dive deeper into the healing process, explore vulnerable areas, and create lasting change. In addition to empathy, I bring a trauma-informed approach that respects each client’s pace and boundaries. I aim to meet my clients where they are, whether they’re ready to dig into deep trauma work or simply need support in managing the stresses of daily life. My clients often tell me they feel a sense of comfort and acceptance in our sessions, and it’s this connection that I believe helps unlock their capacity for growth and healing.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with adults who might feel stuck in their healing journey—those who have been attempting to navigate complex trauma, emotional numbness, or simply "figure out" patterns in their lives that aren't working for them. Many of my clients are high-functioning and insightful but carry unresolved trauma that continues to shape how they relate to themselves and others. I especially enjoy working with men and individuals who struggle with vulnerability, unmet childhood needs, or the belief that healing "just doesn’t work for me." My approach blends EMDR, IFS, and polyvagal theory to go beyond symptom management and help you reconnect with the parts of you that have long felt unseen or shut down. That being said, while I love doing the "deep work", I understand that the current climate of our world can bring about increased stress and difficulty navigating day to day life. I am also more than happy to provide a safe space to vent, problem solve, or simply hold space for those things as well.
