I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Pennsylvania. I am a specialist in the treatment of trauma disorders, including dissociative disorders. Trauma comes in many forms — experiences like bullying, a sick parent, family with mental illness — all of these can result in a trauma burden. Healing trauma opens up possibilities for richer relationships, improved coping with day-to-day problems, and life satisfaction.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Let's talk about how we can work together to achieve healing, and to reach your goals. In a collaborative process, we will create a specific plan responsive to your goals. We will get a sense of each other as people, so you can feel comfortable and safe as the work goes forward. I see our work as a collaboration, a journey we take together. Let's talk about how I can support you to achieve growth, meaningful change, and relief from distress.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My practice specialty is treatment for people experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress and dissociative disorders. I counsel people with stress from providing care to a loved one with a chronic illness or disability. I support individuals and families processing grief. I have served as a mental health professional in several capacities for more than two decades, moving my focus in recent years from policy and systems reform to clinical, client-centered work. I have been a licensed psychotherapist since 2008. I hold a Master's of Social Service Degree, awarded by the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Pennsylvania License No. CW016999.
