New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist (LICSW) with over 20 years of experience, and I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. I enjoy helping people work toward meaningful goals and reach their full potential. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospital programs, hospital-based therapy departments, and my own private practice. My current areas of focus include supporting individuals with general anxiety, mild depression, work-related stress, career burnout, stress management, self-esteem, and personal growth. One of my top priorities as a therapist is creating a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I believe therapy is most effective when built on trust and a strong, collaborative connection. I’m committed to providing a supportive environment where you can feel at ease as we work together.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. We’ll take time to explore your goals and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. This is a supportive, confidential space where you can share at your own pace. We’ll also begin creating a plan that feels right for you — one that fits your needs and goals. I like to understand what has helped you in the past and what hasn’t, as well as the style of communication you feel most comfortable with. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I want our work together to feel like a good fit for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring a client-centered approach to therapy, with a strong focus on active listening and meeting you where you are. I strive to create a calm, neutral, and welcoming environment where you feel supported as you move through change at your own pace. I truly believe every person is unique, and therapy should reflect that. My role is to help guide and empower you as you work toward the growth, improvement, and changes you want in your life.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, work-related stress, career burnout, life stressors, self-esteem concerns, mild depression, or those navigating recent or upcoming life changes such as job or career transitions. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who are focused on personal growth and self-improvement. I’m a good fit for clients who are not in crisis but are ready to take the next step toward stronger coping skills, improved balance, and meaningful, positive change.
