Hi. I am Curtis. Are you struggling to balance your physical and mental health? Are things becoming unmanageable? Is your time limited? I specialize in helping people stay on track, clarify their goals, and co-create the life you want in a safe and healthy environment. We will work together to achieve your goals, improve your life, overall health, and well-being. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my masters' degree in nursing from University of South Alabama. I developed a passion for mental health care while working with our veterans at the Veterans Health Administration. I provide treatment to ages teens to adults. I am experienced in treatment of ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

At the first visit, we will work together on completing a psychiatric evaluation. You will be asked questions about your symptoms, thoughts, feeling and behaviors. We will also discuss your past medical history, family history, and social history. The purpose of this evaluation is to gather information that will help determine your mental health and if needed what the best course of treatment may be. The evaluation may also include diagnostic testing to rule out the possibility of an underlying medical condition. The treatment plan will vary depending on the diagnosis. Follow up visits generally consists of a combination of medication management and therapy.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

We will utilize a patient centered evidenced based approach including a combination of medication management, therapy, and health lifestyle habits to promote health wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are compassion, patience, empathy, and active listening.
