Hi. I'm a License Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master's Degree from Fordham University and have been practicing since 2000. I help people from young adults to older adults struggling with mental health issues ranging from anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, self esteem/self worth and marriage and couples issues. I understand not one type of therapy works for everyone so I utilize a multitude of different therapies in my practice to help people learn, heal and grow to live their best lives.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session we will have a getting to know each other time. This is where the client can ask about my experience and history as a therapist and ask any questions they may have about what therapy will "look like" for them. We will go over the intake paperwork they filled out and I will ask more in depth questions in regards to their seeking therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I am a very down to earth clinician. I practice out of the box if need be to help the client feel comfortable. I am inclusive of all peoples regardless or race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. With over 25 years experience I can help people work on their presenting problems to live happier, healthier lives.
