Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 10 years experience providing therapy. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from California State University Sacramento in 2010. I earned my Masters in Counseling from The University of San Francisco's Sacramento satellite campus in 2012. I have worked with a wide variety of clients struggling with various mental health and other interpersonal challenges. My approach to therapy begins with establishing a genuine connection with each client and their challenges. . I establish this by providing a warm, open, safe, and non - judgmental environment.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Reaching out for help takes courage and I am here to acknowledge and support you in your journey. In a first session, my focus is on beginning to build a rapport with each client. We will get to know each other and discuss what our sessions will look like in terms of time and structure. We will also explore any questions/concerns/goals you may have for future sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
As a provider, I find active listening, and compassion to be my biggest strengths. I am approachable, easy to talk to, and consider myself a good listener. I also bring warmth and humor to our sessions. I so enjoy seeing clients experience the positive outcomes from their work during and outside obsessions.
