My name is Nailah Cook and I have been practicing in the mental health and social work field for over 20 years. I came into the field with a love and commitment to helping individuals overcome the obstacles that have kept them stuck on their path to success. I specialize in mental health and life skills training seminars focused on teaching people the skills to overcome and cope with life challenges. I also specialize in group therapy and life skills groups because I strongly believe people learn from and are empowered by other's experiences. Clients who participate in my counseling courses which include individual sessions, group therapy, and educational groups/classes will have the tools necessary to enhance their lives while experiencing the evitable obstacles with a new sense of strength, tenacity, and resilience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The initial session for the RHS Inc. client is all about the paperwork. We like to call this part of the therapy process (the boring phase before the fun begins). During the initial session, the RHS Inc. clinician will gather important information about the client and complete an intake assessment. The intake assessment will provide the RHS Inc. clinician with enough information to make an informed diagnosis for treatment and complete an initial treatment plan to determine the specific therapeutic modality that will best meet the client's unique needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to utilize the "therapeutic relationship" as a catalyst for identifying a person's uniqueness, strengths, and abilities to overcome any obstacle. I can see the best part of a person regardless of their challenges and help them to see the qualities that allow them to standout positively in their relationships, in their professions, and as individuals.
