Hello! I am Jessica. Are you struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or depression? Is it starting to impact your relationships and your overall well-being? Together we can figure out what's not working and come up with an effective plan to help you feel better! I believe change happens when people are given the guidance and tools needed to draw on their own strengths. Therapy can seem intimidating and overwhelming but totally worth it if you find the right therapist! I strive to provide an environment of compassion, empathy, and support to help individuals overcome obstacles in order to move forward and thrive on their life journey. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques and will work with you to find what works best for you! I am ready to help you realize your full potential so let's get started!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and look at what brought you to therapy at this time. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I think that one of biggest strengths is that I am very open-minded and non-judgmental, which is very beneficial being a therapist. I truly believe that this has helped me connect with people on a deeper level. As a military spouse, I do have the utmost respect for those in the military and have experience working with this population. In addition, I have extensive experience working with a variety of populations to include those with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and trauma.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have found that when clients incorporate mindfulness as part of their daily practice, they are less stressed and anxious! Also, evidence has shown that mindfulness based therapy may reduce the rate of relapse for individuals with recurrent depression by 50%! This treatment can be used to treat mood and anxiety disorders to include OCD and PTSD.
