Do you feel anxious or depressed? Is this affecting your relationships and overall happiness? Anxiety and depression can be displayed in many ways but are some of the most common issues faced by people today. Therapy can help break the cycle of stress and aid in developing the necessary tools to combat life stressors. I have specific training in treating grief, anxiety, depression, anger issues, relationship issues, and behavioral disorders.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Getting to Know You Background Information: I will ask questions about your background, including family history, educational and occupational history, and social relationships. Current Concerns: You will discuss why you sought therapy, including any specific issues or symptoms you're experiencing. Goals for Therapy: What you hope to achieve through therapy. Establishing Rapport Building Trust: The first session is also about establishing a comfortable and trusting relationship Confidentiality: I will explain the confidentiality of your sessions and the limits to that confidentiality (e.g., risk of harm to yourself or others).

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term form of psychotherapy based on the idea that the way someone thinks and feels affects the way he or she behaves. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a structured program of psychotherapy with a strong educational component designed to provide skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have an intensive history of working with individuals with anger issues, severe anxiety, Major Depression, and low motivation. I provide individualized therapy because every client is unique.
