Hi, my name is Karmen Copes, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of Temple University. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals who are coping with life's challenges. Today, I help individuals who are experiencing sadness, loneliness, frustration, worry, and varying fears to understand the root cause(s) and to apply coping skills and behavior change that become their strengths with the goal of achieving peace of mind.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In the first session we will introduce ourselves, we will talk about why you are interested in therapy, and we will review the intake forms and assessments to understand your needs.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strength as a therapist is that I listen for the heart of the issue. I ensure that you feel heard and that together we work toward supporting you to achieve peace of mind.
