Let’s face it, life in today’s world is difficult enough to navigate without the added feelings of things like anxiety or depression hanging around as well. My name is Josh, and I’ve spent my career working alongside adolescents and adults, both young and those young at heart, to help them make real change and regain their sense of control that can sometimes get lost during the battles with emotions and overthinking. If you’re ready to get started and take action towards making those real changes, I could be the right fit for you. You shouldn’t have to wait any longer to start feeling like yourself again, so let’s get to work.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Your first session will be focused on us getting to know one another, and gathering some general information to help identify the focus of the goals for us to address together within therapy. This initial session will be approximately 60 minutes. Sessions following that will be concentrated on us following the roadmap we’ve created to get you back to where you want to be.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I feel one of my greatest strengths as a clinician is my ability to connect with my clients and make their time in therapy feel more like a conversation with a friend, than with a stranger. It’s extremely important to me that client’s feel like they have a safe space to process and work through their problems. You are the greatest expert on you, my goal is just to act as a tool to help you reach your goals and move forward with whatever the next chapter of life holds for you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Over the course of my career, I have most frequently used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients. I believe that changing thinking, helps change behavior and this occurs by making connections between your thoughts, behavior, and feelings.
Interpersonal
Another approach that I use in my sessions in an Interpersonal Approach to therapy, which helps with resolving interpersonal conflicts, improving communication skills, and enhancing interpersonal relationships.
