Do you feel you are in an antagonistic relationship? Are you victim of an emotional abuse where your loved one denies what you hear and see? Do you have a loved one who denies responsibility? Did you grow up in a household where you convince yourself that things were normal, but someone get a feeling that they aren't? Do you have some or all of these symptoms: hyperarousal, irritability, chronic fatigue, chronic shame, overeating, substance abuse, trust problems with others or even yourself, difficulty relating to others, avoidance of situations or memories, tightness in shoulders, jaw, stomach... among other symptoms? I am informed in Addictions, Trauma, and Narcissism Recovery. I am a Yoga, Mindfulness, and Meditation Coach. I help people who have difficult history in emotional and physical abuse. I use an authentic approach, focusing on parts therapy, mindfulness and meditation. Through couples therapy I help find compromise and communication.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I help clients and couples identify the parts of themselves that are not working the way they'd like. Often times these parts are critical or feel like they have to over work themselves in fear that if they stop, something bad will happen. I help the client get in touch with their true self, to get their systems working the way they should.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a combat veteran who has had numerous experiences with trauma. I am able to empathize with the client and get all perspectives. I, myself, have researched for many years of how to heal himself. My approach is precise. I have over 10 certifications to help clients with trauma, addiction, and grief problems.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps us be with our emotions and take actions based on what is important. it is a great tool that I like to use in conjunction with IFS and meditation.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness and meditation helps us change the way we react to our emotions. As a yoga teacher and meditation coach, I use mindfulness and meditation to help us be nonjudgmental and be with our emotions rather than be "fused" with them. I am also a 500 hour yoga teacher and registered in IREST which is modern Yoga Nidra. It is a meditation practice that is helpful in healing trauma. It is used in the military and the VA.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I think it's important that we recognize the the thoughts that stressful events cause. I believe these events cause these thoughts that can change the way we see the world and ourselves. CPT, I believe, can be sued in conjunction with mindfulness and IFS to help us change and ease our parts we want to heal.

EMDR

I am currently becoming certified in EMDR. EMDR is an approach to help a person process a traumatic event better. I am typically going to use IFS and meditations approaches to lead up to EMDR in it's 8 phases.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems Therapy is a treatment therapy that involves looking at different parts of ourselves to treat our traumas.
