Hello! My name is Justine Vaughn, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I graduated with my Masters degree in 2019 and have worked in a variety of counseling settings in order to gain experience and grow professionally. I have been working in the counseling field since 2012, and have experience working with adolescents and adults who have been dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use problems. I work to help individuals achieve their counseling goals in order for them to better manage their emotions, feelings, and behaviors in order for them to become the person they aim to be.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During their first session, clients can expect to spend time getting to know one another, building rapport, and identifying their main reason for seeking out counseling. This will set the foundation for the goals and objectives that are set in order to help them address their concerns.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my compassion, empathy, and non-judgmental approach. As a counselor, my goal is to create a space for an individual to feel comfortable enough to open up and begin to explore their challenges, successes, and ways that they can begin working towards the life they want without feeling judged.
