My name is Diana Tavares. I am a patient and empathic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am passionate about creating a sacred and safe space during the therapeutic process for you to feel confident in your ability to create positive changes in your life. I believe that everyone is deserving of a loving relationship with themselves, the world, and those around them. In our work together, my hope is that we create a new toolbox of coping mechanisms and break personal and generational patterns that no longer serve to enhance the quality of your life and for you to live more aligned and at peace.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will work together to gather and discuss the important information that will allow me to best support you in your mental health journey. We will then discuss your treatment goals. The treatment plan is our map and will support us throughout treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have 9 years of experience working with diverse populations (children, adolescents, young adults, elder adults) and in diverse environments (home-based, school-based, drop-in center) and feel confident working with a multitude of populations. I hold a very sacred, judge-free space for my clients to discuss their emotional experiences.
