Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I provide a safe space for my clients to express their emotions, explore their feelings, and navigate their journey towards healing. I help adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and grief. The goal is to collaborate with my clients to become the best version of themselves. My treatment approach includes evidenced based modalities including CBT, ACT, and grief therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, discuss specific challenges that led you to therapy. We will work collaboratively to create a plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, my goal is to empower clients to gain insight into their own strengths and abilities, and to develop practical skills to manage their emotions and improve their overall well-being. I provide a supportive and nurturing environment where individuals can feel heard, understood, and supported

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am passionate about providing evidence-based care and staying up to date with the latest research. Through CBT techniques, I help clients challenge and reframe these thoughts, leading to more positive and adaptive behaviors.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is a unique therapeutic approach that focuses on accepting difficult thoughts and feelings, while also taking committed action towards developing mindfulness skills, clarifying your values, and taking action towards living a life aligned with what truly matters to you.

Grief Therapy

I understand the unique challenges and complexities that individuals face when dealing with loss. Grief can occur through many different avenues-loss of a job, loss of someone close to you, loss of self. Etc. I believe in the importance of validating and honoring each person's unique experience of grief. I work collaboratively with my clients to develop a personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
