Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my MSW from Radford University and I have been a Licensed Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia since 2013. I enjoy working with youth and adults of all ages. I am an inspirator, motivator, and educator. My dedication lies in providing therapeutic services, inspiring hope, lifelong learning and educating with passion and purpose.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Creating a welcoming environment for clients is my top priority. In our intake session, clients can expect a safe space to share as much about themselves as they're comfortable with, which helps us establish a strong connection. We'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, what you hope to achieve, your personal background, including challenges from a holistic perspective, as well as your strengths, weaknesses, and goals—all of which will inform our treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my core strengths include using empathy to connect deeply with clients, creating a safe and supportive therapeutic space, and tailoring therapy to meet each client's individual needs. I am dedicated to understanding my clients' experiences from their viewpoint and exploring their thoughts and emotions without any judgment.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I completed my EMDR therapist training in September 2020. EMDR is psychotherapy technique designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories and allows for new, more positive associations to develop.

Eclectic

I find it best to utilize a variety of techniques and tools that best suites the client’s needs. I am excited to be a part of your journey and look forward to witnessing your personal growth in mind, body, and spirit.

Strength-Based

My goal as a provider is to assist clients in recognizing their capabilities, empowering them to tackle challenges and achieve their goals with resilience.
