Hello! My name is Christine and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the States of Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, North Dakota, Maine and Florida. I have over 20 years of experience in mental health . I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, individual and group therapy, and working in the insurance industry. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, OCD, and substance abuse. My counseling style is warm and non-judgmental. I integrate kindness and I believe in treating others with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines client centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. in addition to working with an approach to focus on strengths that you have. We will identify them together and use them to create what you want and need in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, you can expect an easy-going conversation to build a therapeutic alliance. At the moment, I practice entirely over tele-health, giving us the flexibility to connect conveniently and safely. The first couple of sessions usually consist of getting to know each other and gaining a greater understanding of what it is that you hope to change or improve in your life.

My biggest strength is the ability to listen to my clients with compassion. While I might have had a similar experience, or not at all, how we interpret situations is different and unique to everyone. I have experience working in crisis management, grief, anger management , self-esteem, mood disorders , and anxiety
