Solution oriented

Greetings and salutations, I am Celeste! Are you looking for a space to truly be heard? A safe environment with another human who will not only listen, but empower, and challenge you? Are you struggling with your sexuality? Experiencing anxiety because the world is crazy and adulting is HARD? Does coping with day-to-day things seem like an insurmountable task that you’d rather put off for (yet) another day? How about relationships? Have they been increasingly confusing, or do you find yourself struggling with communication? Well, you are in luck because supporting people with these challenges ( and so many more) is what I am all about and have strong passion for! I am a real person. Yes, I am an LMHC, LCPC, and LMHC. Yes, I am also a PH.D candidate for Clinical sexuality with over 10 years’ experience therapizing folks. But at the end of the day, none of that really matters. What matters most is that I am a human with a passion for helping other humans. You will find yourself laughing, maybe crying, philosophizing, and deep diving with me. Perhaps all in one session or maybe small bouts of these moments happen over time. More importantly, you will know that you are speaking to a therapist that will connect with you authentically with the hope that you will do the same, because with that, there is no growth, for either of us.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After our initial session, you can expect to leave feeling heard and ideally empowered! I am not going to do the work for you, however, instead, I will support you in exploring healthy and sustainable ways in which you can rid yourself of barriers that have gotten in the way of you doing the work for yourself. When our time together has come to an end, I would expect that you feel like you have acquired the tools, insight, and emotional/mental armor to take on anything that may come your way.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize a variety of treatment methods. Like Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, and many others. I am very big on mindfulness awareness and learning to feel safe and reconnect with the body.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My philosophy is one of pragmatism, based on treating each client as an individual with specific needs and empowering clients through education as well as introspection. My greatest goal is to help others develop into healthy and whole individuals, and to embrace life’s journey. In the therapeutic process, I empower the client to discover their own resolve, while at the same time directing the client into a safe path of self-discovery. I strive to help others actualize the value of their individual being and inspire them to experience their maximum potential. I’ve worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, and have extensive experience treating a multitude of disorders.
