Hi there! I a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. I have over 25 years of experience working in the mental health profession. I see people virtually for issues related to anxiety, depression, substance use/addiction and trauma. I want to help you change and grow in a positive direction in order for you to achieve your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together, we will focus on what is essentially the reason why you feel you need therapy at this time. We will then focus on the challenges that you are facing. Next we will discuss what you would like to change in order to begin to feel better. Lastly, We will come up with a plan of action for our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I decided to become a therapist very early on in life. I feel what it is truly my passion. I feel that I truly care for my clients. I find that my down-to-earth nature has helped me convey empathy and compassion for my clients. This ability has really assisted me in helping others to work through their issues and become the best versions of themselves.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used this CBT for a number of years with clients and find it to be very effective in creating positive change.

Strength-Based

I believe that identifying and focusing on people’s strengths and utilizing these strengths in the therapeutic process to be beneficial.

Trauma Informed Care

I have worked with several clients who have had a number of different traumas. I don not use one specific method to treat trauma. I work with the client to find the best mode to heal from trauma possible for that individual.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I believe that there is a strong connection between body and mind. I teach individuals how they are interconnected and how they affect people in positive and negative ways. I build on positive connections between body and mind for overall healing.
