Hello, I'm Rhonda. I am a seasoned counselor experienced in working with all age groups, which includes military families, in different phases of their lives. I am also a military parent. I have a background in education as both a middle school teacher and counselor, which helps me understand the different issues within the family structure. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session we'll begin with introductions and then dive into the issues that you are currently experiencing. We'll discuss a treatment/game plan. We'll discover the goals that you have when it comes to counseling.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Working with school-aged children and adolescents has provided me with experience in helping with difficulties in the family structure. In addition, working with military families has also made me aware of other issues that are sometimes hidden and sometimes presented in a different way.
