I am a licensed psychologist based in Minnesota. I received my Master's degree from Fort Hays State University and have been practicing for over 30 years. I help adults struggling with life transitions, trauma, health issues, anxiety, and depression to learn coping strategies, be more aware of things that impact their mood both positively and negatively, and to identify ways to create a sense of meaning and purpose.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions then delve into the things that are feeling most challenging for you right now. We will talk some about your history so that I can more fully understand you and will create a specific plan that addresses your goals and what you would like to accomplish in therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My years of experience have allowed me to develop ways to help you identify underlying causes of challenges you are experiencing and to cope effectively with them. Strategies and approaches used in therapy sessions will be tailored to your needs and personality, leading to measurable progress.
