Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Saint Leo University and have over 20 years of clinical experience serving children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings: Community Mental Health and School Social Work. Especially helping clients with stress, relationship issues, parenting, family conflict, addictions (eating disorders and/or substance use), depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, low self-esteem, women's issues, trauma, behavioral concerns, and mood disorders. Be proud of yourself for taking the first step towards a better more rewarding life. It's not always easy to take time away from your hectic schedule to focus on your own wants and needs. However, the outcome can be incredibly rewarding! Together we can cultivate resiliency and bring balance back into your life. Using a holistic approach, I assist my clients to effectively face life challenges in a safe and connected environment. I also integrate mindfulness, yoga, and meditation into the session if my client is open to these practices.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we engage in building rapport and getting to know each other. We will focus on the reason(s) that brought you to therapy, along with praising you for asking for help. We will begin our discussion on what you are hoping to get out of coming to therapy and come up with a game plan on how best to achieve this.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths include incorporating a holistic mind-body approach with yoga, meditation, and mindfulness into the session (when appropriate). I also am very empathetic and non-judgmental and easy to talk with.

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

In a safe non- judgmental environment during sessions, if the client is open to exploring the mind-body connection to continue to release what has been stored in their body and no longer serves them. This can be done through the art of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

By explaining and providing real-life situations on how our thoughts and feelings, directly effect our behaviors. This is done through exploring and working together to specifically address our thoughts and feelings that may be hindering living up to our fullest potential.

Positive Psychology

To assist my clients in identifying and understanding the positive aspects of their lives, to use as a coping skill when life is overwhelming, unfair, and challenging.
