Hello. I'm a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia. I received my Master's from Walden University and have practiced for over eight years. My ultimate goal is to help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, and other concerns return to the same level of functioning before their challenges started and to achieve their day-to-day responsibilities once again.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal in my first session and throughout our time together is to build trust and rapport with my clients. I will do all I can to earn your trust and tell you I have your best interest at heart. That way, we can meet your treatment goals, emphasizing facilitating a positive change in your cognition, behavior, emotions, and optimal functioning. I will also help you gain insight into situations, people, things, or thoughts that are causing your depression, anxiety, or any other concerns you may have. I will also teach you how your thoughts affect your behavior and feelings. Providing you with tools and coping strategies that you can always use is essential, as they will help you manage your symptoms and get you through the day. You have taken the first step in your healing journey, and I look forward to working with you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with clients over the years, I've developed a solid, tried-and-true plan for helping you identify the root cause of your challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress, allowing you to return to the level of functioning before your challenges began.
