This means I am centered in meeting you where you're at and promoting your ability to heal from the past as well as better manage thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I offer expertise in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, anger management, and relationship problems. We improve through feeling understood and more capable of managing life's challenges. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My focus as you come into therapy is to provide an accepting and safe environment, holding space to support you in working through your most challenging problems and emotions. In our first session we'll begin with developing increased awareness of your personal experiences to inform the initial direction of therapy. You should expect to come away from sessions feeling supported and more capable of coping, I've observed through my experience, people progress through feeling understood and possessing coping skills for improved functioning within their daily lives.

From a passion for learning and disposition for helping others, I've embraced continued education and training to develop mastery in using the most effective evidence-based practices. I come from a background involving interpersonal communication and placing value on the importance of relationships. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing. Through my relational qualities, interest in others and providing informed therapy, I have developed expertise in helping others recover from mental health problems.
