Hello! I am LeAnn, and I am glad that you are taking the first steps in seeking support. My professional background includes working with clients struggling to manage depression, anxiety and the challenges life might provide. I will work alongside you to identify solutions to the issues at hand, along with developing coping skills to recognize periods of intense emotion, and to manage those emotions. I can also assist with developing an awareness of the effects trauma and previous experiences can have on current situations.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we will begin to identify the issues that cause you the most emotional distress. We will then develop a plan, specific to you, to assist you with finding solutions to the issues.

I take a laid back informal approach to counseling, while being professional. I have the ability to help you identify treatment goals, and develop a road map for how you can reach those goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have implemented Solution Focused Therapy with client during the past 2 years. I will work alongside you to identify the changes you want to make in your life and develop goals to make those changes. Once we have developed goals, we will work together to identify the best way to meet the goals.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my treatment approach you will guide the topic of each session. As the client you are the expert on what issues you are facing, and I am there to help guide you to making the necessary life changes.

Trauma Informed Care

In session we will identify and explore your trauma history while developing an awareness of how this trauma affects you on a daily basis. We will also identify and develop coping skills to manage symptoms of trauma.
