Therapy can feel like a scary thing, but it doesn't have to be. There isn't anything you have to be scared to tell me- I'll literally lose my license if I betray your trust! I have worked with all kinds of trauma, orientations, and lifestyles. I have worked with a wide range of people, and I believe in respecting everyone. This is a safe place for growth and healing to start. Life is too short to not give it a try. My goal is always for you to feel safe and heard. Sometimes going through changes is a painful difficult thing, so it helps to have someone who you feel you can discuss frustrations with. If you ever feel that we are not a good fit, I will support you in finding someone who is. No one should have to feel alone when they are working to better their selves.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My first session is typically a lot of me asking you questions to get to know you. This is where we explore what is going on in your life that lead to you seeking therapy, and determine what goals are reasonable and helpful for us to start working towards.

My clients regularly report feeling heard and cared for by me. It means a lot that someone would entrust a part of their well being to me, and I am always humbled that this gets to be my job. I am motivated to help my clients. I work to see all of them as the whole, complicated, wonderful beings that they are. Every week I am studying, and I hope to keep getting more knowledgeable as a provider.
