Welcome! Are you tired of coping with something painful that happened in the past? Maybe it was childhood trauma, emotional or physical abuse, combat, a car accident, or some other event at work or home that is now causing you to feel anxious, afraid, or alone? You want to be free from these painful memories so you can live in the present instead of an eternal yesterday. You are looking for a therapist who is easy to talk to and can help you heal from past pain. I am a trauma therapist who is EMDR trained and dedicated to helping my clients transform pain so they can feel better again. I work best with clients who are motivated for treatment, willing and able to actively and consistently engage in their care. Clients I have worked with include health care providers, working professionals, educators, therapists, artists, military veterans, and people who want to break the cycle of childhood abuse that they experienced.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will complete an initial intake and discuss the symptoms you are experiencing, in addition to identifying the goals you have for treatment. We will start with brief introductions, review your intake paperwork, and see if we would be a good fit to work together.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my dedication and passion to helping people identify where they feel stuck and finding new ways to move forward. I am driven by my diverse experience in various settings over the years and the various ways that untreated trauma/PTSD has impacted others in pain. I believe everyone has strengths and that recovery from the past is possible. While we cannot change the painful things that have happened to us, we can change how the impact of the past continues to sit with us today and make new goals for tomorrow.
