I specialize in working with transgender and non-binary people and people in the LGBTQ+ population with all sexual orientations or asexual people. I'm affirming of people in all relationship types as well. I also work with: depression, anxiety, women’s issues, self-harm, autism, work stress, suicidal thoughts, relationship issues, domestic violence, hoarding, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. I love to teach coping skills too.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I'll tell you how the process works and answer any questions you might have. Then I'll let you tell me how I can help.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my personality. I'm very easy going and I love talking with people.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I enjoy using ACT to help clients with a range of issues.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a great modality to use when a person is able to use cognitive methods to resolve thinking errors!

Attachment-based

Attachment is an important part of relationships. I'm so glad that we're talking about this on social media platforms lately. I have good insight into this style as well.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I have been using CPT for several years to help people with PTSD to overcome their trauma.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a great modality. We used to only use it with people with Borderline Personality Disorder, but now we know it works for many things.
