With a warm hello, I’d like to introduce myself to the Grow Therapy community. My practice in professional counseling started in 2019 and led me to many exciting opportunities to work with diverse populations with co-occurring disorders. I obtained a Master of Science in Licensed Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing. I enjoy spending time with family, and our pets. I like adventures and exploring the outdoors and writing and photography as crafted hobbies. I specialize in Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, PTSD, Trauma, Career Issues, Parenting Problems, Codependency, Personality Disorders, Substance Use and Eating Disorders. I use a needs-based treatment methodology and have a variety of skills to utilize including DBT, Mindfulness therapy, Trauma-based therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. It is important to me to offer you quality care and understanding to reach the outcome you are seeking.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My strengths are teaching, implementing, modeling and rehearsing Mindfulness and DBT skills. Assertive communication is a great way to create healthy relationships. Healing requires forward motion, and I can show clients how this can happen with patience, acceptance, and insight.
