Hello and Welcome! I'm Lauren. I understand that engaging in therapy, especially if it's the first time, can feel intimidating. You've taken the first step by being here, on this page, and I'd like to introduce myself to help you feel a little more comfortable. I am a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults having trouble with adjustment, stress management, depression, relationships, and more. Therapy is not one size fits all. I use a variety of evidence-based therapies including, but not limited to CBT, Solution Focused, Strength-Based, and Motivational Interviewing. Using a client-centered approach, I will work to build a trusting relationship, where you can feel comfortable sharing and working on your goals together. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with introductions and begin talking about what has brought you to therapy at this time. We will talk about the goal(s) that you would like to work on and how that will look. I understand and respect that it might take some time for you to feel safe sharing your story. When you are ready, I will be there to listen and honored that you chose to share it with me.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use a variety of evidence-based therapies including CBT, Solution Focused, Strength-Based, Motivational Interviewing, Relational, and Interpersonal.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience in many areas, including but not limited to Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Stress, ADD/ADHD, Family Issues, Trauma, and PTSD.
