Hi! I'm a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I received my Master's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and have been practicing for the past 3 years. I work to support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, major life transitions and decisions, grief, stress/trauma, substance abuse, and more. I help clients ranging from adolescence to older adulthood obtain their therapeutic goals and become the best versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will begin with brief introductions and then delve into the specific challenges you are encountering. This will allow us to collaboratively identify therapeutic goals and create a plan for us to achieve and work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strength as a therapist is being able to empower you to explore your challenges openly and work collaboratively towards personal growth and healing. My goals is to make you feel validated, respected, and motivated to navigate your journey towards positive change with confidence and resilience.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I’ve been using DBT in my practice for the past four years. We’ll use DBT to find the balance between acceptance and change, stay present in the moment and manage emotions effectively, tolerate distress without resorting to harmful behaviors, and identify and regulate intense emotions to reduce emotional vulnerability.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I've been using ACT in my practice for the past three years. We'll use ACT to accept thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them. ACT also emphasizes identifying and committing to personal values to enhance motivation and well-being.

Attachment-based

I've been using attachment-based treatment in my practice for the past three years. We'll use attachment-based treatment to develop a healthier, more secure sense of self and more fulfilling relationships by addressing root causes of emotional and relational issues, improving emotion regulation, increasing self-awareness, and building secure attachment.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been using CBT in my practice for the past four years. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We will utilize this understanding to modify your thinking patterns, thereby enhancing your ability to manage overwhelming emotions.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I've been using person-centered (Rogerian) therapy in my practice for the past four years. This approach is designed to strengthen the therapeutic relationship and create an environment where clients feel genuinely heard, accepted, and understood without judgment. We'll use person-centered (Rogerian) therapy to develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience, leading to improved mental health and overall well-being.
