As a modern cognitive behavioral therapist I understand these challenges and how they may alter us internally. My approach to therapy is a collaborative, solution focused and non judgmental. Through this approach I will assist in gaining insight into who you are, empower you to grow and allow you to truly gain the life that you deserve to live. I value being emotionally, behaviorally and mentally healthy. Together we can identify the best strategies, perspectives and mindsets in order for you to create long lasting mental, emotional and behavioral health that can improve your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will discuss the past few months and what brings you to therapy. I will explain my approach to therapy and what to expect from me. We will also discuss your goals, your experience with therapy and how you feel our relationship will benefit you and finally how you would like our relationship to look. We will also discuss your career, education, romantic relationship and childhood family history in our first few sessions in order for me to understand you as a whole in order to guide treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in therapy for the past 5 years I feel that I have developed effective skills, tool and structure to therapy that is tailored to each client I work with. I feel that I provide a unique experience that is non-judgmental, structured, reliable, honest and reflective that gives clients support, guidance and tools to make meaningful change that they want in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a structured goal oriented evidence based treatment method that I use to help clients change their behavior, gain control over their thoughts and feelings and respond to challenging situations more effectively. I have used this method in my practice for many years and I feel with my approach and guidance clients have responded well.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic is a in depth form of talk therapy where you discuss the past and present in a reflective manner in order to reach conclusions, find answers and develop insight in your life. I use this treatment method with clients to gain understanding of their lives and hopefully create meaningful solutions to challenges that they are facing.
