Hello. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida. I received my Master's Degree from Webster University and currently, I'm working towards a Ph.D. in General Psychology, from Capella University. I have been in private practice for three years. I help women who have experienced a variety of challenges of childbirth. Whether it's infertility, anxiety during pregnancy, fetal loss, postpartum anxiety/depression, and even menopause.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, we will give introductions, I will gather important information, and we will get into the concerns on your heart and mind. This will support me in creating a unique treatment plan for our therapy sessions to be beneficial and successful.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Having worked with children for 21 years as an educator and school counselor has given me a firm foundation in compassion and patience. Having worked with women who desire to have children for the last 4 years and being trained in perinatal mental health gives the client a safe and knowledgeable space to enter during therapy. Additionallly, I had both of my daughters after the age of 35, a miscarriage, a severe bout of postpartum depression, and now in the midst of menopause; gives me a personal perspective to relate to my clients.
